Paper Collage came so naturally because it was doing the same things with paper that I had been doing with fabric.  The fabric or paper is layered with various surface design techniques such as dying, painting, screening, sponging, etc.  Then it is cut or torn and collaged together on a fabric background or board.

Sculptural pieces start with a sturdy wool that is molded to the desired shape and stiffened with fabric stiffener.  When dry, the paper collage process begins.  The Goddess pieces below each feature beadwork.
